Every year IJS supply a growing number of festivals over the summer season, this year was no exception and one of the busiest ever for us! Since the start of summer we have supplied production for hundreds of thousands of festival goers at events such as Stereosonic, Woodford Folk Festival, Summerfieldayze, Big Day Out, Soundwave, Good Vibrations, Future Music and East Coast Blues & Roots.
Of course its not just festivals in the summer, 'A Day on the Green' at Sirromet Winery featuring Tom Jones & Dave Campbell saw us supplying a full scale d&b J-Series FOH & M2 Monitor system with console and stage systems touring from Jands. Despite rain for most of the day the skys cleared and the 10,000+ audience enjoyed a fantastic show from the ledgendary Tom Jones

Stereosonic Festival held at Eagle Farm Raceway rescently drew record crowds to the venue for a day of music, sun and dancing, IJS was on hand to provide the PA & Backline requirements for the show. Being an electronic music festival ment that both high fidelity and big bass was high on the requirements, making the choice of d&b J-Series on the main stages an easy one, with d&b Q-Series & B2 Subs handling the outer stages for the 28,000 strong crowd.
With noise restrictions being an issue facing many inner city venues, the Mainstage system required careful design, employing 12x J8 tops and 12x J-Subs at FOH plus 4 separate delay systems consisting of Q1, Q-Sub and B2 subs to cover the grandstands and the further throws of the venue ensuring everyone was getting enough SPL no matter where they were.
To quote Rave Magazine "Getting a vantage point is mighty difficult, but it’s no matter – the extra PA gear 100m back ensures it’s a party even for those lining up for drinks and food at the stalls"
